April 16, 2011 - Harlem Renaissance - The Dogwood City Chapter, The Links, Incorporated is hosting its signature event, “A Harlem Renaissance Affair,” on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Downtown Atlanta. The purpose of our event is twofold: 1) to raise needed funding that will enable our chapter to promote effective prevention and treatment strategies in the ongoing fight against childhood obesity; and 2) to make our community aware of this national epidemic and its devastating effects which are far reaching.

By hosting “Harlem Renaissance” for over fifteen years, and with your support, we have been able to donate over one million dollars to the Atlanta community in addition to thousands of volunteer hours. The proceeds raised from this year’s fun-filled and memorable event will provide much needed educational and life saving programs to our community through a partnership with The Morehouse School of Medicine for the Commission on Childhood Obesity Prevention.

Put on your cocktail attire, dancing shoes and join the Dogwood City Chapter as we share our fondest memories of the past, plans for the present and programs for the future. Click here for your Invitation. Make checks payable to The Dogwood City Chapter of Links, Inc. and return to The Links, Incorporated, Dogwood City Chapter, 1835 Loch Lomond Trail, Atlanta, GA 30331. Please RSVP by April 15, 2011.
